Firehole

Hello,

The summer is trying to start and the weather for the next week is looking good.

THE PARK
Most rivers are very high still but in the last few days we have seen the Madison (in the park) and the Firehole come down from very high to high.
There have been a few big bugs in the Firehole Canyon and some BWO's all over the River. We expect the Madison to start fishing well in the next couple of days. The Gallatin in the park has cleared up but the water tempature is still very cold but some nymphs on the bottom should bring in some fish. (Try a rock worm or a March Brown Nymph.)

MONTANA
The Madison and Gallatin in the Montana are both very high and dirty. Try fishing lakes like Hebgen or Cliff and Wade. If you need to fish a river try a Rubber leg or a Bugger right on the bank.

IN THE SHOP
We have a selection of Salmon Flys picked out, four bugs for five bucks. Having trouble finding fish on your own come in and talk to the shop guys and they will point you in the right direction and show you some flys that are working. Need more help, hire a guide for a half day or full day.

Have Fun,

Rob Orsini
